Emphasized Hair has been my baby from the beginning… a space I created to make beautiful hair feel personal, welcoming and genuinely enjoyable.

With over 15 years in the industry, I specialise in personalised colour, cutting and seamless weft extensions. I love creating hair that feels elevated but still completely you, and I’m always investing in education and refining my craft.

Outside the salon, I’m an extroverted introvert, a little bit spiritual, obsessed with the gym, sunrise walks and my fur baby Karma. I’m equally happy surrounded by people or disappearing into my own little bubble for a recharge.

As Emphasized enters its next era, I’m excited to have created a space where talented independent stylists can build their own businesses alongside mine… while our clients still get the warm, relaxed Emphasized experience I’ve always wanted the salon to be known for.

My goal behind the chair is simple: beautiful hair that suits your lifestyle and has you leaving feeling confident, empowered and completely yourself.

Whether it’s a fresh colour, a soft dimensional blonde or added length and fullness with extensions, Hayley loves creating polished, wearable results that still feel effortless.

With years of experience behind the chair, she brings a calm, personalised approach to every appointment and loves getting to know her clients and what makes them feel their best.

Master Stylist + Colour Expert + Weft Extension Specialist

Mercedes is an independent stylist based at Emphasized Hair, specialising in dimensional colour, beautiful blondes and seamless weft extensions.

Starting in the industry at just 16, she has built years of experience creating personalised colour and effortless, wearable hair. She loves creating results that not only look incredible when you leave the salon, but continue to work beautifully with your lifestyle.

Outside the salon, you’ll usually find Mercedes at the gym, by the beach or chasing sunshine. She brings that same fun, high-energy personality to her appointments and loves creating a relaxed space where her clients can feel completely themselves.
